Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) is a system or device that is responsible for heating and ventilation indoors or in the car, which creates a comfortable indoor environment. With the development of social economy, people's requirements for material and cultural life are constantly improving. Therefore, more attention and requirements are put forward for many related infrastructures in daily life. It requires more analysis and exploration in the design of HVAC and the selection and installation of air-conditioning equipment.
This book analyses the development prospects of HVAC system and its system, and introduces the theoretical basis of HVAC power. Then, HVAC related equipment is introduced from heating, supply heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The design, installation, maintenance and control of heating systems, supply heating systems, ventilation systems and air conditioning systems are discussed in detail to further understand the design and equipment related research of HVAC systems. This provides scientific theoretical support for adapting to the increasingly rich building and HVAC market and provides a practical reference book for the majority of HVAC practitioners.

Hui-Feng Yue is currently working for China United Northwest Institute for Engineering Design & Research Co., Ltd. He is a registered utility engineer (HVAC), a senior engineer, an expert of the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and a director of the Xi'an Refrigeration Society. He has a strong influence in the field of HVAC, and has published many professional papers in authoritative journals and national core journals, and has a number of national patents and utility model patents for HVAC energy-saving new products and energy-saving technologies. In addition, he has presided over the design of HVAC for landmark large public buildings at home and abroad, and has won many international and provincial awards.
岳慧峰,现供职于中联西北工程设计研究院有限公司,国家注册公用设备工程师(暖通空调)。高级工程师,陕西省发展与改革委员会专家,西安制冷学会理事。在暖通空调领域,有较强影响力,在权威期刊及国家核心期刊发表多篇专业论文,并有多项暖通空调节能新产品及节能技术类国家专利及实用新型专利。曾经主持国内外标志性的大型公共建筑的暖通空调设计工作,并多次获得国际及省部级奖励。
Peng Li, Female, Born in August 1984, Chongqing. She is currently working for TYLI International Engineering Consulting (China) Co., Ltd., and is a registered utility engineer (HVAC) and senior engineer. She has participated in the National Eleventh-Five Year issue and has published many professional papers in national core journals. She passed the “National BIM Application Skill Proficiency Test” and won the award in “Chongqing's First Building Information Model Application Competition” and participated in the “Application Research of BIM Technology in the Installation Engineering of Chongqing Fifth Rail Transit Line”. She has presided over the design of HVAC systems for several large public buildings and participated in the compilation of the “Chongqing City Integrated Pipe Gallery (Overall and Auxiliary Facilities) Standard Atlas”.
李鹏,女,1984年8月出生,重庆人,现供职于林同棪国际工程咨询(中国)有限公司,国家注册公用设备工程师(暖通空调),高级工程师。曾参与国家十一五课题研究,并在国家核心期刊发表多篇专业论文。通过“全国BIM应用技能等级考评”,并在“重庆市首届建筑信息模型应用竞赛”中获奖,参与课题“BIM技术在重庆市轨道交通五号线站后安装工程中的应用研究”。曾主持多个大型公共建筑暖通空调系统设计,并参与“重庆市城市综合管廊(总体及附属设施)标准图集”编制。
