Preface
Since the reform and opening up, China’s highway construction has developed rapidly. With the development of economy and the enhancement of comprehensive national strength, China’s building materials, equipment and construction technology have developed rapidly, providing safe and comfortable services for people’s travel and highway transportation. But the following road maintenance work is also facing new challenges.
This book adheres to the scientific development concept of combining theory and practice, relying on the two parts of highway engineering and highway maintenance engineering, analyzes the problems and status quo in the whole process of highway engineering planning and design, highway engineering construction, highway maintenance, highway maintenance management, ordinary highway maintenance management, rural road maintenance management and highway maintenance engineering cost management. This book gives feasible suggestions for these problems, in order to provide a practical teaching material and reference book for the majority of road traffic practitioners in China, and make a little contribution to the sustainable construction of highway engineering construction in China.

改革开放以来，我国公路建设事业迅猛发展。随着经济的发展、综合国力增强，我国的建筑材料、设备、建筑技术都有了较快的发展，为人民出行和公路运输提供了安全舒适的服务。但是随之而来的公路养护工作也面临着新的挑战。
本书坚持理论与实践相结合的科学发展观，以公路工程与公路养护工程两部分为依托，分析了公路工程规划设计、公路工程建设施工、公路养护、高速公路养护管理、普通公路养护管理、农村公路养护管理以及公路养护工程成本管理全过程存在的问题与现状，并针对这些问题给出可行性建议，以期为我国广大道路交通从业者提供一本切合实用的教材与参考书，为我国公路工程建设的可持续建设略尽绵薄之力。
Bei Jing, female, the Han nationality, master’s degree, born in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province in May 1983. She graduated from Changsha University of Science & Technology majoring in traffic engineering (road and bridge). She has been engaged in long-term research on highway maintenance, quality control and other aspects. As the deputy project leader, she was responsible for and completed 2 provincial scientific research projects and 9 QC quality achievements. In 2017, she won the honor of excellent promoter of quality management in China, transportation industry and Xi’an city. She has won the group company, branch advanced workers, high-speed craftsmen, maintenance experts for many times.
荆蓓，女，汉族， 1983 年 5 月生，陕西西安人。毕业于长沙理工大学交通工程（路桥）专业，硕士学位。长期从事公路施工、养护技术、质量管控和创新创效等方面的研究。作为项目副组长，负责并完成 2 项省厅科研课题研究， 9 项 QC 质量成果的发布。 2017 年度荣获全国、交通行业和西安市质量管理优秀推进者荣誉。多次获集团公司、分公司先进工作者、高速工匠、养护能手。
Shang-Chao Dang, male, the Han nationality, bachelor’s degree, registered supervision engineer of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Construction, born in Yuzhou City, Henan Province in December 1980. He graduated from China University of Geosciences majoring in civil engineering. He has been engaged in highway construction and supervision for a long time, and is now a senior resident supervision engineer of Yuanman expressway. He has served as the person in charge of many engineering projects, which has been highly recognized by the owners and construction units, and has created good economic and social benefits.
党尚朝，男，汉族， 1980 年 12 月生，河南禹州人。毕业于中国地质大学土木工程专业，本科学历，交通部注册监理工程师、建设部注册监理工程师。长期从事高速公路施工、监理工作，现任元蔓高速高级驻地监理工程师。担任过多个工程项目负责人，获得了业主和施工单位的高度认可，同时也创造了良好的经济和社会效益。
Bo Li, male, Manchu, bachelor’s degree, born in Chengde City, Hebei Province in April 1984. He graduated from Hebei University of Technology majoring in civil engineering. He has been engaged in the research of highway engineering for a long time. Since 2009, he has worked in Chengde Highway and Bridge Construction Parent Company, a subordinate unit of Chengde Transportation Bureau, mainly engaged in highway engineering construction.
李博，男，满族， 1984 年 4 月生，河北省承德市人。毕业于河北工业大学土木工程系，本科学历。长期从事公路工程方面的研究， 2009 年至今在河北省承德市交通局下属单位承德路桥建设总公司工作，主要从事公路工程施工建设工作。
