Preface
The petrochemical industry is an organic synthesis industry that uses petroleum (including natural gas) as a starting material, and is also an industry that comprehensively processes and utilizes petroleum. It came into being at the early 20th century and has developed rapidly since the 1960s, becoming an important area of the world economic system. Since the discovery of Daqing Oilfield of CNPC in the 1960s, a number of large-scale petroleum refining and petrochemical enterprises have been established successively. Now the petrochemical industry is in the ascendant and has become one of the pillar industries of our national economy. The developed degree of petrochemical industry is also an important symbol to measure a country’s economic strength and industrial level.
Facing the fierce competition in domestic and foreign markets, the industry is increasingly dependent on science and technology, and scientific and technological progress is increasingly demanding the proper structure and specifications of talents. Therefore, engineers and technicians in the petrochemical industry, including university students in petrochemical universities, should have a comprehensive understanding of the petrochemical industry, whether they are currently or in the future engaged in the development of high-tech products or in industrial production, technological innovation, technological management and other work.
The book is divided into five chapters. The first chapter mainly describes the development of petrochemical industry and its role in the national economy, the second chapter mainly explains the nature and classification of petroleum and high-quality products, the third chapter mainly addresses the relevant knowledge of industrial sewage, the fourth chapter mainly discusses the methods of sewage treatment, and the fifth chapter mainly analyses the content of chemical safety. Due to the limited editorial level, the complexity of the content, the wide range of issues, the inadequacies and mistakes are inevitable. We sincerely hope that petrochemical experts and readers in the industry can give advice.
前言
石油化学工业是以石油（包括天然气）为起始原料的有机合成工业，也是对石油进行综合加工利用的工业。它于20世纪初问世，60年代以来发展迅猛，成为世界经济体系的一个重要领域。我国在60年代发现大庆油田以来，相继建成了一批大型石油炼制、石油化工企业。现在石油化学工业方兴未艾，已成为我国国民经济的支柱产业之一。石油化学工业的发达程度也是衡量一个国家经济实力和工业水平的重要标志。
面对激烈竞争的国内外市场，行业对科学技术的依赖程度日益加深，科技进步对人才的结构和规格要求也越来越高。因此，石化行业的工程技术人员，也包括石油化工院校的大学生们，不论是目前正在或将来要从事高新技术产品的研制，还是从事工业生产、技术革新、技术管理等工作，都应对石化工业有较全面的了解。
全书共分五章。第一章主要写石油化工的发展及与国民经济的作用，第二章主要写石油与优品的性质及分类，第三章主要写工业污水的相关知识，第四章主要写污水处理的方法，第五章主要写化工安全方面的内容。由于编者水平有限，加上内容庞杂、涉及面广，不妥和错误之处在所难免，诚望业内石油化工专家和广大读者指教。
Jun-Ling Wang, male, the Han nationality, born in February 1969, Puyang City, Henan Province. He studied in Hebei University of Science and Technology during 1978-7991, and got a bachelor’s degree. He worked in Puyang No.1 Petrochemical Plant from 1991 to 1998, Puyang Sanan Chemical Company Limited from 1998 to 2002, and Puyang Sewage Treatment Plant from 2002 to 2017. Now he worked in Puyang City Drainage Management Office. In 2006, he was awarded deputy senior engineer, and mainly engaged in new construction, reconstruction, expansion and operation management of sewage treatment plant.
王俊岭，男，汉，1969年2月出生，河南省濮阳人。1987-1991年就读于河北轻化工学院化工设备与机械专业，学士学位。1991-1998年在濮阳市第一石油化工厂工作，1998-2002年在濮阳市三安化工有限公司工作，2002-2017年在濮阳市污水处理厂工作，2017年至今在濮阳市城市排水管理处工作，2006年评为副高级工程师，主要从事污水处理厂的新建、改建、扩建、运行管理工作。
You-Zhong Hu, male, the Han nationality, born in June 1982, Gongan County, Hubei Province. He graduated from Wuhan Polytechnic University in 2005, majoring in chemical engineering and technology and worked successively in large chemical enterprises and safety technology consulting companies. He is national-level registered fire engineer, registered safety engineer and safety evaluator, and mainly engaged in safety technical consultation of chemical industry and industrial and trading enterprises. He successively completed safety technical consultation of more than ten large chemical and industrial enterprises, overall safety risk assessment of provincial chemical parks and security of national chemical parks. In 2019, he was appointed as an emergency rescue expert in Hubei Province.
胡佑中，男，汉族，1982年6月出生，湖北省公安县人，2005年毕业于武汉工业学院化学工程与工艺专业。先后在大型化工企业和安全技术咨询公司工作，国家一级注册消防工程师、注册安全工程师、安全评价师，主要从事化工、工贸等企业的安全技术咨询工作，先后主持完成十多个大型化工和工贸等企业的安全技术咨询、省级化工园区整体性安全风险评价、国家级化工园区安全生产技术服务指导等工作。2019年被聘为湖北省应急救援专家。
Qi-Sheng Chen, male, the Han nationality, born in September 1974, Shanghang County, Fujian Province. He is a senior engineer, who graduated from department of chemical engineering, Fuzhou University, and now working as the general manager of Fujian Zijin Precious Metal Materials Co., Ltd. He presided over the project “Research and Application of Secondary Encapsulation Inhibitors in the Process of Silver Concentrate Roasting” and won the first prize of Longyan Science and Technology Progress, meanwhile he also participated in the project “Research and Application of Key Technologies for Copper Recovery from High Copper Refractory Gold Concentrate”, and won the first prize of Longyan Science and Technology Progress and the first prize of China Gold Association Science and Technology Award.
陈期生，男，汉族，1974年9月出生，福建上杭县人，毕业于福州大学化学工程系，现任福建紫金贵金属材料有限公司总经理，高级工程师。主持了《银在金精矿焙烧过程中二次包裹抑制剂的研发及应用》项目，获龙岩市科技进步一等奖；参与《高铜难处理金精矿铜回收关键技术研究及应用》等项目，获龙岩市科技进步一等奖、中国黄金协会科学技术奖一等奖。
