“Archives” is no longer a mysterious thing in modern civilized society. In their work, life and study, people feel more and more clearly that archives are around and everyone has to deal with them. We should not only understand the concept of archives, but also further understand how archives are used in all walks of life. Only in this way can we have a deeper understanding of archives, cherish archives more consciously and make active use of archives.
  As a hospital archives, its value and function are mainly reflected in the following parts: first, as a reference certificate for the work of hospital organs. In order to carry out the work effectively, the party and government organs in hospitals must comprehensively grasp the situation. Archives are the historical records of the activities of the hospital organs. They can provide the basis and consulting materials for the organs to carry out the work and make decisions. The use of hospital archives is conducive to the scientific planning and decision-making, overcoming bureaucracy and blindness, and improving the work efficiency of the leading cadres in hospitals; secondly, the reference basis of hospital operation and management, which records the achievements, experiences and lessons of predecessors in various types of work, can provide scientific basis and reference materials for the future operation and management of the hospital, especially medical records, technology and other files, which are indispensable important materials for hospital management; finally, reliable data and archives of medical research can provide a large number of scientific research records, experimental materials, observation materials and theoretical summary materials for medical scientific research, and create necessary conditions for future medical research.

  To this end, we wrote this book, the purpose is to make an in-depth analysis of the ways of hospital file management, and actively look for a more reasonable way of file management. We hope this book can achieve the effect of using the little to get the big.

档案”在现代文明社会已经不是什么神秘的东西了,人们在自己的工作、 生活、学习中，越来越清楚地感受到档案就在身边，人人都要和它打交道。对档案的认识不仅要从概念上理解， 我们还要进一步了解档案是如何运用到各行各业的,这样才会对档案有一个较深刻的认识，才能更自觉地珍爱档案，积极地利用档案。
       作为医院档案馆的价值和作用主要体现为以下几个部分：首先，作为医院机关工作的查考凭证。医院党政机关为有效地开展工作，必须全面地掌握情况，档案是医院机关活动的历史记录， 它可以为机关开展工作， 进行决策提供依据和咨询材料，利用医院档案， 有助于计划和决策的科学化,有利于克服官僚主义和盲目性,提高医院领导干部的工作效率；其次，医院运营和管理的参考依据，档案记载前人在各项工种中的情况成果、经验与教训，它可为医院今后的运营和管理提供科学依据和参考材料,尤其是病历、技术等档案，更是医院管理不可或缺的重要材料；最后，医疗研究的可靠资料,档案可以为医学科学研究提供大量的科研记录、实验材料、观察材料及理论概括材料,为日后的医学科研创造必要的条件。
        为此，我们撰写了《新时代背景下的医院档案管理与创新研究》一书，目的是对医院档案管理的方式进行深入分析，并积极寻找更加合理的档案管理方式。希望本书能够达到抛砖引玉的效果。
